Product Trial Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Wype Wall Mount Product Testing Trial (“Trial”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview of the Trial

  • The Trial is conducted by Wype Ltd (“Wype”), and involves testing a prototype wall mount designed to station our bottles in a convenient location near the toilet.
  • Participants in the Trial will receive a Starter Kit, which includes:
    • One Wype bottle fitted with the corresponding pump.
    • One prototype wall mount to be adhered to a bathroom wall or cabinet.

2. Eligibility and Selection

  • Participation is by invitation only. Wype will contact successful applicants by Monday 19th May 2025.
  • Trial kits will be dispatched via Royal Mail 24 on week commencing Monday 26th May 2025.

3. Participant Commitments

By agreeing to take part in the Trial, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • To install the wall mount in accordance with the provided instructions, on a clean, flat surface near the toilet (such as a tiled wall or cabinet).
  • To use the product for a reasonable period and under normal usage conditions.
  • To provide honest and constructive feedback, including completing any feedback forms, surveys, or follow-up communications sent by Wype regarding the Trial.
  • To report any issues or safety concerns encountered during use in a timely manner.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Wype shall not be held liable for any damage to participants’ property (including but not limited to paint, tiles, walls, cabinets, or any other surfaces) resulting from the installation, removal, or use of the wall mount.
  • Wype shall also not be liable for any personal injury, allergic reaction or other harm caused during or after the use of the product and/or wall mount, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Participants assume full responsibility for installing and using the prototype product at their own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All prototype products and related materials provided as part of the Trial remain the sole property of Wype.
  • Participants shall not copy, replicate, reverse-engineer, or attempt to commercialise the prototype or its components.
  • Feedback provided by participants may be used by Wype for product development, marketing, and research purposes without attribution or compensation.

6. Termination of Participation

  • Wype reserves the right to end the Trial or withdraw any participant at any time, for any reason, without obligation.
  • Participants may opt out of the Trial by notifying Wype in writing, but must return or dispose of the prototype in accordance with instructions from Wype.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Participant data collected during the Trial will be processed in accordance with Wype’s Privacy Policy.
  • Feedback, including survey responses, may be anonymised and used for internal research and development.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
